CONSTITUTION
(Adopted March 1985)
Preamble: We the members of the Bass Hill Repeater Group, banding together to procure the benefits and pleasures of the radio art for ourselves and others, constitute ourselves and enact this constitution as our governing law. The purpose of this Group is to concentrate its efforts to the promotion of reliable communications for Maine, including the operation and maintenance of equipment for use by the general amateur population.
Membership: Invitations for membership shall be issued following a unanimous vote of the Group. No secret ballots shall be cast.
Officers: Officers shall consist of a trustee, a secretary treasurer, and a president who shall serve at the pleasure of the Group.
Dues: NO formal dues shall ever be assessed
Meetings: Meeting dates and places shall be designated by the members for the purposes of routine and emergency equipment repair, contesting, and planning.
Amendments: This constitution may be amended by the unanimous vote of the Group
Rules: Proceedings of this Group shall be governed by Common Sense, Friendship, and Good Will.
