When the larger Mosher Hill tower was upgraded we had to remove the UHF repeater. It was off the air for a while we decided if it was worth it to put it back on that air. It wasn't getting much use even though it was linked to the .225 repeater on Moose Hill. Tom got the idea to changing the repeater to DMR. We were offered the smaller tower near the road, just a couple hundred yards from the bigger tower. The DMR repeater was purchased and our friends at Hussey Communications offered to put the antenna up for us. Our UHF antenna is the side mount, dipole array at the first set of guy wires well above the tree line! (see the tower pic at right)
